An Lanntair Arts Centre
In October 2005, following a 10 year campaign, An Lanntair’s magnificent arts centre opened on Stornoway sea front and has since developed a reputation as one of the most dynamic small arts centres in Scotland with a distinctive cultural identity.
An Lanntair is in the centre of Stornoway near the bus station (1 minutes walk) and the ferry terminal (2 minutes walk). An Lanntair means Lantern in Gaelic and the corner tower makes the building easy to find.
